Super Bowl Sunday: Crispy Breaded Cauliflower Bites
Let’s turn cauliflower into game food, ok?! Believe it or not, breaded cauliflower makes a great wing alternative! It crisps up in the oven and you can dip (or drench) it in your favorite sauces. It also pairs perfectly with all our junk food favorites like this buffalo chickpea dip.
Below are two ways to bread your cauliflower pieces. Both can be made gluten free and one can also be made vegan too. One version uses a batter coating, while the other utilizes panko breadcrumbs. Both versions crisp in the oven, but they have different textures. I recommend waiting to add sauce until it’s time to eat (or dipping along the way) so they don’t get soggy. You can’t go wrong with either version!
Recipe 1

- ½ head cauliflower (cleaned and cut into florets)
- spray oil of choice
- ¼ cup flour (can be GF)

- Add the milk to the bag and coat the pieces evenly with the batter.
- Remove each piece and arrange on the baking sheet.
